How did you find the picture with the cop car?
MSNBC, CNN, etc, etc, all have it conveniently omitted.
WTF!

FUCK!! I saw the same news first thing this morning. The picture makes me feel sick and almost uncontrollably angry!! God Speed to the guy who died, and I hope the injured recover quickly. I hope the driver rots in a Mexican prison for life!!!

That photo made me want to vomit. The cop should have gone car to car with that asshole!

I just have to ask, What is the cop doing way over to the left? Isn't it his job to be escorting (therefore protecting) the cyclists?

That makes my stomach sink.

wow! the cnn image I saw didn't have the cop car there. WTF are the ramming bars on the front of the cop car for if not ramming cars and getting them out of the way. Way to PROTECT and serve.

that really makes the stomach drop.
what's that cop doing coming the opposite dirction though?

I cycle in the area, but US side only. The biggest controversy is that they had police escort, but notice that the car did nothing to protect the cyclists. It seems to have moved out of the path of the oncoming drunk driver. Pitiful.
