Now then, our man Thomas Rousculp and Stump Town Coffee Roasters up in Portland have got an incredible thing brewing. (Pun intended)
The two of us have been bouncing emails back and fourth and Ive been trying to put together a summery of what it is theyre undertaking. Its too big for that.
Basically, they have a project called Bikes to Rwanda in which they are working with the Rwandan coffee farmers and helping them become more self sufficient with the use of bicycles. Before I butcher their mission statement any further, please just go to their website, and check all of this out for yourself. Its totally amazing.

Secondly, we want to direct you here. We bet while in elementary school, this guy was making more bitchen paper air planes than anybody.

We would be touched if any of you all who spend your lives on the bikes, and who obsessively document the things you see with a camera would do us the honor of including some of your shots on the header of How To Avoid The Bummer Life (dot) com.

The shots we like best are the ones horizontally depicting roman candle wars, pumpkin chucking, dance parties, skid competitions, irony, mustaches, black eyes, bike piles, outlaw mountain bike races, ironic mustache roman candle wars, and of course anything with a Swobo logo emblazoned all over it.
