FREE WOOL JERSEY!!!

OK...now I'm getting pissed. The guy who set up our home away from home here, isn't returning any of my emails (I'll withhold any names), so now we need somebody's help.
We need to figure out how to change that damn picture on our blog. The first person to successfully hand walk Stevil K. through changing our homepage photo gets a new wool jersey.
Let the games begin....

man, this is an easy one....just cut out another picture from your favorite magazine and tape that mofo onto your computer screen. it gives any of you the freedom and control to change the image whenever YOU want to....talk about variable data....voila!

God, you computer geeks are cool. Could one of you fly to Minneapolis and hook up my new computer that's still in the box from last August. I'll give ya a used Swobo jersey.

The image file is located at: http://www.howtoavoidthebummerlife.com/images/photo_top.gif
If you would like to choose another image instead of the Mr.T graffiti, then create the image in the same size 592x238 pixels and upload it to your server in the "images" folder. Mr. T will be overwritten with whatever image you upload. This is the most straightforward and direct-to-the-roots solution. Good luck.

Just emailed over a lengthy description on how i think you could possibly do this...
basically it would involve editing the template files...

Though not knowing what blog publishing software you use, I can tell you the name and location of the Mr. T photo. It can be found under
http://www.howtoavoidthebummerlife.com/images/photo_top.gif
the size is: width="592" height="238"
at the very least you could create another photo to that size and save it as that name - as has been previously stated.

Not too scary, I'm out with a broken collar bone from my fixed, I'd be glad to help, what you guys should do is go into the actual server file that your site is uploaded from, you'll probably have to enter in your username and password, and then you should probably see a folder thats called "images" or something like that, if you send me an image you want as your banner I'd gladly resize it for you in photoshop and show you what the new html edit is as well, (i just have to see what the full url looks like now tomake the adjustments) let me know or email me.

First one to hand walk Stevil through it....that's the deal. AND...therein lies the challenge.

If this is a wordpress blog you go to the presentation tab in your dashboard and there should be a custom image tab under that to upload your new graphic you can browse for the image on your local drive.
Alternatively, locate the current graphic on your server and overwrite it with your new one.
